Who is LOXO
Founded in 2021 by experts in European automotive and functional safety regulation, LOXO quickly achieved major milestones. Its LOXO Alpha pilot prototype received street authorization in late 2022 and began operating in early 2023 as the first Level 4 autonomous vehicle on European roads. The founders are hands-on practitioners with strong field experience.
A lean team of engineers has since continuously advanced the LOXO Digital Driver. In mid-2024, LOXO and its partners scaled the first autonomous commercial urban delivery application at city level, delivering thousands of parcels. Often described as a “robotaxi for goods,” LOXO focuses on high-quality urban logistics solutions. The LOXO Digital Driver is now running on more than four different vehicle platforms, with international expansion to Germany underway and operations starting at the end of 2025.

Amin serves as CEO of LOXO. With over 11 years of experience in the automotive industry, Amin Amini is a recognized expert in autonomous driving, safety, and regulation. As co-founder of CertX, he helped establish the company as a leading certification body for autonomous driving, supporting major customers such as NVIDIA, and successfully guided it to an exit with Munich Re and SGS. He also contributed as a co-author to ISO safety standards and Swiss regulations for autonomous driving.
Claudio is the CTO of LOXO, where he leads the development of Level 4 autonomous driving technology for commercial road transport. With a background in electrical engineering and many years of experience in functional safety, he brings the depth of expertise required to develop autonomous systems that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and real-world performance. Over the course of his career, he has helped bring hundreds of automotive components to market, building a strong track record in transforming highly complex, safety-critical technologies into industrialized products. Combining deep knowledge of embedded systems, functional safety, and system architecture, he is exceptionally well positioned to turn autonomous driving from a technical challenge into a real industrial and commercial reality.
Lara serves as Managing Director Germany & CMO. She previously held the role of Chief Business Officer, where she led strategic partnerships and investor relations, and she continues to oversee communication and public relations.
She is an alumna of Harvard Business School and holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering. With several years of industrial experience in process automation and sustainable industrialization, she brings a strong interdisciplinary perspective spanning science, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
